The automation and engineering environment involves electronic engineering and electrical engineering fields, with subspecialties in analog, digital, or electromechanical systems. Tasks carried out in this field include interfacing with systems architects or client stakeholders; generating the highest level of hardware requirements, based on the user's needs and other constraints such as cost and schedule; and ensuring that a set of high level requirements is consistent, complete, correct, and operationally defined.
