  Stenographers are playing a vital role in day-to-day administration in a office/organization/company. They are attending every activity of Boss, so boss purely depends upon Stenographer. Experience in Stenography is essential. Without sufficient experience in Stenography and typing, it is difficult to satisfy the boss.     True but now a days its very difficult to get a job for stenographers. I mean earlier there was a prestige for stenographers but in presence of computers and other gadgets stenography has not that much of value.

  I do agree that with the advent of computers, requirement of Stenographer has become less these days, but still there are some departments where Stenographer is a MUST and one of such department of the legal institutions mainly the Courts. Apart from that, a good number of Stenographers are being recruited in various Central Govt. offices every year through SSC. So, although the overall requirement of Stenographers have come down, but still there are good number of vacancies exist. Hence, there is nothing to worry and a good Stenographer will definitely find a good opening for him/her easily.
