  I've been told about an event where several companies give you the possibility to get these on the spot job interviews. Are this interviews normally legit?

    I think you can put at ease your concerns. I had them too, but after a few of them I've come to the conclusion that they are totally OK. They're normally well structured interviews, just a bit more informal. I used to think that a decision making person in a company would be too busy to play the come at any time game, but the truth is that it works. Also you normally are interviewed by the one person rather than by several ones after the next.
