Surendranagar is an administrative district in the state of Gujarat in India. It has a population of approximately 1.5 million people. Surendranagar is also known as Zalawad, as the city of Surendranagar was ruled by Zala Rajputs. Surendranagar City (including Wadhwan City) has about 400,000 inhabitants, and is known as the city of Hi-Tech Bungalows.
